John Abraham-starrer ‘Welcome Back’ will finally make its way to theatres on September 4, after repeated delays in the last few months.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the sequel to the 2007 comedy riot “Welcome”, which was intially scheduled to release with Aamir Khan-starrer “PK” in Decemeber 2014, was pushed for May 2015 release.


Due to the delay in shoot the release date was further postponed to July 2015. But now the film have the final release date.
John, who replaces Akshay Kumar from the original, took to Twitter to announce the release date.

“‘Welcome Back’ releases 4th September!” he wrote.
Actor Anil Kapoor, who will be reprising his role of Majnu Bhai, also shared the fate day of the film.
