Debaloy Bhattacharya's Roga Howar Sohoj Upaye, which stars Raima and Riya Sen, Parambrata Chatterjee, Kamalika Banerjee, Rudranil Ghosh and others, is about the obsession with weightloss.

The film, produced by Shree Venkatesh Films, revolves around Joy (Parambrata), a chef, and his foodie wife Ranjana (Raima). "Life is a bed of roses for the couple till the day a person calls up Ranjana. He introduces himself as 'cholesterol' and says how he wants to get rid of her.

Life turns into a nightmare for her, forcing Joy to take her to a psychiatrist. According to the psychiatrist, Ranjana's fear of gaining weight was working up on the subconscious level; he prescribes a two-week weight-loss course for her. That is how Ranjana reaches a fitness centre, Feather Girls, Roga Howar Sohoj Upaye. At the end of the two weeks, Joy finds a new Ranjana — a slim, size-zero girl. The girl, claiming to be Ranjana, moves into their house and Joy finds himself in a soup. Is this the real Ranjana? If not, where is she and how can Joy get her back is what the film all about. It has comedy, romance and suspense in equal doses," said Debaloy.
